At His Feet, LLC's New Logo As Explained By Valerie Scott

During the process of recording the CD, At Your Feet, I sought the Lord for guidance regarding all aspects of this album as well as the company, At His Feet, LLC. The project was done in Birmingham, Alabama, which meant, I had to make several trips there. It is not unusual for me to fellowship with God while driving, however, on this one occasion, while returning home one night from Birmingham, I sensed an urgency to pray, given it had been a very long day and I was totally exhausted.  I had left the studio much later than usual and was very concerned about driving at night alone, which can be a challenge for me. Therefore, to diffuse any potential negative energy to manifest regarding the events of this day that led me to feel somewhat stressed, dialogue with God was my only recourse. I proceeded to thank God for His protection as well as His assurance that I would arrive home safely. 

As some point, while driving, I begin to have this vision. The details of this picture in my mind was almost tangible and very vivid. It was apparent that the Lord was answering my prayers by providing me with the logo for AHF, LLC.  It was absolutely amazing and a wonderful aha moment, one that I will never forget. I was ecstatic to say the least. Furthermore, my heart was so full of joy and love again, at the faithfulness of God and His impeccable timing. ​

This is what I saw as I was driving. There were two hearts interlocked, one heart larger than the other and the smaller heart had a container of liquid pouring forth from the neck of the jar downward.

​​I later conferred with a wonderful young lady, Nai Brooks, who was one of the background singers at my CD Launch Party. Nai is a Graphic Designer, as well as a website developer and media consultant. She was able to hear my vision, capture what I was saying and render a simplistic but powerful expression of what the Lord had shown to me on that night driving home from Birmingham with minimal adjustments. 

The backdrop for At His Feet, LLC is derived from the events taken place in Luke 7, the story about the woman, who worshiped Jesus at his feet.  The logo is reflective of this particular narrative, with the primary characters being Jesus, the woman and the exchange of intimacy that takes place between the two.

The two hearts represents the heart of God and the heart of mankind. The interlocking of the hearts is the exchange of intimacy that takes place when we engage with Jesus on an intimate level. The jar inside of the smaller heart depicts the Alabaster Jar in Luke 7, that was used to store the expensive perfume that the woman used to anoint Jesus with. The liquid in the jar is symbolic to the worship that we anoint Jesus with during our time of intimacy with him. 

It is with great pleasure that I share with you the Logo for At His Feet, LLC. At His Feet, LLC, is the proud owner of this logo, which is legally registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and to God be the glory. I pray that this Logo will always be representative of the mission and vision that He has entrusted to me; to honor the Presence of God in my life with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength and to extend this invitation to others to experience intimacy with Jesus through personal worship.
